Johnny Ladson entered eternal rest peacefully at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina on Monday, May 11, 2020 at the youthful age of 58. Johnny Ladson was born on July 18, 1961 in Dillon County, South Carolina to the late James and Rosa Green Ladson. He married Ruby Lee Miles, whom he remained faithful to until his death. Johnny Ladson was preceded in death by his parents: James and Rosa Ladson; one aunt: Mary Lee McQueen; his siblings: Bobby Ladson, Willie Earl Ladson and Ronny Ladson. Johnny Ladson is survived by his wife of the home: Ruby Lee Miles Ladson of Dillon, SC; his children: Deseray (Kevin) Locklear of Sellers, SC, Shaning (Marcus) Bethea of Dillon, SC, Demetrius Young of Indianapolis, ID, Antwan Young of Philadelphia, PA; three step children: Timothy Miles of New York, NY, Katashia (Jefferey) Brown of Charlotte, NC, and Shonda (Tommy) Allen, of Marion, SC; eight brothers: James Jr. of Philadelphia, PA., Jessie (Annie Mae) Watson of Rowland, NC, Tracey Ladson of Fayetteville, NC, Fred (Constance) Ladson and Toney (Brenda) Ladson both of Sellers, SC, Randy (Marainetta) Ladson of Elizabethtown, NC and Andy Ladson of Charlotte, NC; seven sisters: Sarah Helen Vanderhall of Rowland, NC, Rosa (Robert) Thompson of Charleston, SC, Izeaner (David) McCoy of Dillon, SC, Shirley Clark of Lake View, SC, Linda Gordon of Dillon, SC Brenda, (Edward) Hughes of Charlotte, NC and Kathleen Ladson of Columbia, SC; one aunt: Linda McLaughlin of Dillon, SC; five sisters-n-law: Priscella Ann Ladson, Shirley Yates and Rachel Nails all of Dillon, SC, Sarah (Raul) Becerra of Atlanta, GA, and Eva Miles of Decatur, GA; four brothers-n-law: James (Renae) Miles of Phoenix, AZ, Kenny Miles of Chamblee, GA, Ray Miles of Atlanta, GA and Richard Miles of Freeport, NY; twenty-six grandchildren, six great grands, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
