Machale Olando Bethea departed this earthly life on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at McLeod Dillon Medical Center, Dillon, South Carolina. Machale was born on August 30,1994 to Tony and LaMecisa Bethea. Machale was a 2013 graduate of Dillon High School, Dillon, South Carolina. He was a certified Nurses’ assistant in long-term care and is listed on the Nurses’ Aide Registry in the State of South Carolina. Machale was a member of McCoy’s Chapel United Methodist Church where he served as an acolyte and member of the children’s choir. He was a kind and affectionate person with a peoples’ person personality, who was loved by so many. His passing has affected all who knew and loved him. Machale leaves to cherish his loving memories ~ his parents: Tony and LaMecisa Bethea; his son: Machale Bethea Jr and a step-son: Trenton; two sisters: LaToni of Dillon, SC and Mechelle Bethea of Atlanta, GA; a brother: Landen {Ashley} Bethea of Columbia, SC; a brother/nephew: Khalil Bethea of Dillon, SC; four nieces: MaLiyah, Ashlyn, Aniyah and Amiyah; two nephews: Jhi’Mir and Markese; two great uncles: Victor {Georgia Anna} Pernell and Thurmond McDougal both of Dillon, SC; three uncles: James {Mary} Bethea of Marion, SC, John Wesley {Mary} Bethea of Fayetteville, NC, Ben Thurmond Bethea of Marion, SC; nine aunts: Angela McDougal of Dillon SC, Lucille {James} Costin and Gladys Lawrence both of Raleigh, NC, Patricia {Jesse} Wallace of Springfield, MI, Marva {Ronald} Floyd of Dillon, SC, Janice {Clifton} Lampley of Augusta, GA, Sally Ann Pickett of Fayetteville, NC, Alice West of Trenton, NJ, Carol {Tyrone} Abraham of Bennettsville, SC; loving friend: ShiAnn Johnson; best friend/cousin: Shazia Baskerville; close friends: Qytiesha Lester, Kiki McInnis; a special friend: Mamie Howell and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
