Beaulah Mae McLaurin was born in Dillon County, South Carolina on May 18, 1940 to the late Walter and Mary McLaurin. She departed this earthly life on Sunday, June 3, 2018 to be with the Lord.
Beaulah was baptized at an early age at Hazel Grove Baptist Church. She received her education in the Dillon County Schools System, Dillon, South Carolina.
Beaulah worked on the Farm until 1967, and then moved to Philadelphia. She started working at Gordon Davis’ Linen Company in 1967 and she retired from there in 1992.
She met Robert Furlow in 1982 and he was her devoted friend. Beaulah enjoyed planting flowers and cooking big meals, and enjoyed speaking her mind to people.
Beaulah was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Mary McLaurin; four brothers: Ulysees, Lawrence, Edward, Willie and one sister: Marylee.
Beaulah leaves to cherish her memories ~ four sons: James McLaurin, Randy (Darlene) McLaurin, Tony (Jodonna) McLaurin all of Philadelphia and Jack McLaurin of the home; two sisters: Isabella Samuel of Dillon, SC, Elizabeth (Johnathan) Robinson of the home; seven grandchildren: Latasha McLaurin, Aletheia Fields, Aaron White, Saniyyah McLaurin, Joseph McLaurin, Zeraida McLaurin, Latoni McLaurin; twenty-five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, and a special thanks to two nieces she cared for: Latonrya McLaurin, Whyshander Lloyd and a special thanks to her niece: Theresa McLaurin; one great grand: Neiyana Swinton, nephews, other relatives and friends.
