It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Louise Grimes, who departed this life on Monday, July 7, 2025, at her residence. The family will be receiving friends at 107 Cornelius Place, Dillon, South Carolina 29536.
Public Viewing for Ms. Louise Grimes will be held Thursday July 10, 2025 from 1:00PM-5:00PM, Samuel Bartell Memorial Chapel located at 1309 East Calhoun Street, Dillon, South Carolina 29536.
Celebration of Life for Ms. Louise Grimes will be held on Friday July 11, 2025 at 1:00PM at Manning Baptist Church located at 308 East Calhoun St, Dillon, South Carolina 29536.
Ms. Louise Grimes final resting place will be at Green Lawn Cemetery

Add A CondolenceWhen I was younger when we came down from Brooklyn NYC, we always spent one night and my uncle & aunt house.
Ms.Grimes was my ninth grade Civics teacher. A very nice and caring individual. Ms. Grimes would pick my mother up for choir rehearsals and they both were active members of Thankful Baptist Church where they sang in the choir. My condolences to the family and may Ms. Grimes rest in peace.

We are sadden to hear of the passing of Mrs. Grimes We have fond memories of her... Mr. Sammie did her plumbing work and my Late Mother Rev. Betty was her florist and I knew her from being a virtuous woman in the community!!! As years passed I got to know her daughter that would come and visit her mother... Please 🙏🏾 know that the Grimes family is in our thoughts and prayers and Bamberg was made a better place because Mrs. Grimes passed this way... kindly submitted with love ❤️...

My condolences are with the family. Ms.Grimes was the librarian at Richard Carroll Junior High and Trustee at Thankful Baptist Church in Bamberg, SC She will truly be missed by the Bamberg Community.
