Norma Faye McInnis was born February 23, 1954, in Little Rock, South Carolina, the “BABY
Girl” of the late James L. McInnis and the late Mamie Crawford McInnis. Her life can be
captured in one-word, ascendant, always trending upward educationally, professionally,
personally, and spiritually. Now culminating and continuing as she entered her eternal rest on
Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at McLeod Medical Center, Florence, SC.
Norma Faye’s educational and professional rise launched when she graduated in the Class of
1972 from Dillon High School and continued as she received her associate degree in business
administration from Columbia Jr. College. After graduating, Norma “Faye” relocated to
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where she began her working career at AMP Incorporated. Her skills
and professionalism ultimately led her to become General Manager for Consolidation Aviation
Services at JFK Airport, from which she retired. After retiring Norma Faye continued to give
back to her community, she touched the lives of children as a Substitute Teacher for Dillon
District Four and was a faithful volunteer for Little Rock District Poll Voters Registration. Even
though she was retired, she was compelled to return to work full-time, Norma Faye’s most recent
employment was with Partners Personnel (Harbor Freight).
Norma Faye loved to sing and praise the Lord! While living in Hempstead, New York, she was a
member at Faith Baptist Church Cathedral under the leadership of Pastor Joe Brown, where she
was on the Usher Board. In May 2016, her spiritual ascent came full circle, she moved back
home to Little Rock, SC where she had originally accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and
Savior, and rejoined Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and became the President of the
Senior Choir and The Financial Clerk.
Norma Faye loved and enjoyed life. Affectionately called and known as “A QUEEN”. She
enjoyed shopping and traveling and was always dressed to impress from head to toe, no matter
where she was going. Norma loved spending time with her family most. She was proceeded in
death by her parents, her Godmother, Norma Lewis, her brother, Jabe McInnis, her sister Deettie
Hudson, and her Adopted Mom Lourdean McNeil Mack.
