Shannon Sharee McKinnon was born on February 20, 1977 to Rudolph McKinnon and the late Minnie Lou Alford. Shannon departed this earthly life on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence, South Carolina.
Shannon attended Dillon County Public Schools, Dillon, South Carolina and graduated in the class of 1995.
She was employed at Franco Manufacturing Company for twenty-two years and Bojangles’ for thirteen years until her health began to decline.
Shannon joined Bowling Green United Methodist Church at an early age where she served on the Adult Choir.
In addition to her mother, Minnie Lou Alford, Shannon was preceded in death by one sister: Sharell McKinnon; two brothers: Terry McKinnon, Kalvin McKinnon; grandfather: Ethan McGirt; grandmother: Arletha Caulder; two special aunts: Adell Clark and Margaret McKinnon.
Shannon leaves to cherish loving memories ~ her father: Rudolph McKinnon Sr. of Dillon, SC; her husband: Mark Fulmore of the home; two children: Marquan Fulmore and Jamariah Fulmore both of home; grandmother: Emma Jane (Charles) McKinnon of Dillon, SC; mother-n-law: Joan Fulmore of Dillon, SC; five sisters: Sharon Alford, Tina (Danny) McKinnon, Teresa (Joseph) Pernell, Kenyette Manning and Markita Manning all of Dillon, SC; five brothers: Ronnie (Darlene) Bethea, Rudolph McKinnon Jr., Lachristopher Alford, Emanuel (Cecile) Alford and Randy (Kimberly) Alford all of Dillon, SC; two special sisters: Jennifer Hunter (Larry) Thomas of Spartanburg, SC, Quiana (Tim) Smith of Greenville, SC; one sister-n-law: Treva Bruce of Dillon, SC; two brothers-n-law: Tracy Fulmore of Columbia, SC, Keith Fulmore of Dillon, SC; two special aunts and one uncle: Vivian (Bea), Marylian ( Perk) Clark and Kenny Manning all of Dillon, SC; two special brothers: Edward Rose and James Jacobs both of Dillon, SC; nine special cousins: Tamela Williams, Antonia Manning, Tenikan McKinnon, Talaya Harrison, Corie Thompson all of Dillon, SC and Macio Paige of Latta, SC, Thomasha McKinnon, Latashia Walls, Stephanie Scott and Darhonda Davis; three special nieces: Antasia, Sanasia McNeil and Saria Harrington; three special nephews: Zyquan McKinnon, Raquel Alford and Jalik Alford; longtime friends she seen as her sisters and brother: Tamar (Marcus) Carmichael, Nola Townsend, Kimberly Anderson, Barbara Abraham, and Rhonda McCrimmon; four god-children: DaiNashna Townsend and Je’Lamyon Thomas, Zy’Errah Wilson and Kaleb Townsend; her mini boyfriend: Nigel George and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
