I was just notified today of Pastor Watson's passing. I send my condolences to the family. I will always remember Pastor Watson as he baptized me and my sister's. One Sunday me and my sister's traveled from different states to Dillon, SC to attend his church and be baptized. He was aware of us wanting to be baptized but not aware that were expecting to get baptized that Sunday. After church, we went to his study for a conversation and he informed us of a time in the future for us to come back to be baptized. I was not expecting this. I asked him a question, "If I pass while traveling back to GA, will I go to heaven or hell?" He immediately told the clergy to run the water and we got baptized that afternoon. :-)

My beloved cousin, Pastor Eddie Watson. He was most gracious, kindful, loving, unselfish and faithful. He believed in the power of prayer, the power of the laying on of hands and the power of the Holy Ghost. His smile most radiant as his spirit was. A praiser and worshipper of God and teacher of God's word. He was a lover of music and he would play the piano and I would sing. We were a team. He loved me and I loved him more. He was not only my cousin, he was a great comforter and friend to me. He graduated from living in the tabernacle of man to living in the tabernacle of God. I will miss him, but I know in my heart that he rests safely and oh so lovingly in the arms of God. Rest on my cousin. Always, Alyce White-Campbell

This is Pastor Watson Sister ,during one of the most difficult times of my life I was getting overwhelmed with the cares and problems of life I drove to his home when I got to the door i could speak no words I felt like my experience was choking the life from me when I got to his house he open the door upon seeing me he didn't say a word just started praying, after the prayer he had a plague on the wall with a big hand reaching down that said reach up as far as you can and God will reach down for you he gave it to me for my comfort it was lost in my house fire in 2002 but it is written on the table of my heart. I love my brother unconditionally I will miss him but he not suffering anymore.
