Raymond Cedric Johnson was born to the late Raymond Shepard Johnson and Clara Mae (Kelly) Johnson on October 12, 1974. On Saturday, August 14, 2021 he entered into eternal life at his in Sumter, South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Araya Mae Grace Johnson; father: Raymond Shepard Johnson; sister: Sharon Denise Johnson and father-in-law: Ted Worley.

Raymond “Ced” was joined in Holy Matrimony to April E. Worley Johnson on March 18, 1998 and to this union two children were born. He was a proud United States Paratrooper that loved to jump out of airplanes. His true passion was an auto mechanic that loved to work on cars. He obtained an A.A. Degree in Automotive Technology at FTCC. Raymond was a wonderful and loving father who cared for his children deeply.

He leaves fond memories to cherish, his wife: April Johnson of Fairmont, NC; his children: A’Riya Johnson of the home and Davante (Shannon) Johnson of Timmonsville, SC; his mother: Clara Mae Johnson of Lake View, SC; two brothers: Billy (Deloris) Johnson of Marion, SC, Eugene (Ophelia) Johnson of Lake View, SC; three sisters: Barbara (Anderson) Reaves of Lake View, SC, Wanda (Gregory) Smiling of Dillon, SC and Carl Whittington of Fairmont, NC; mother-in-law: Hilda Worley and sister-in-law: Tosha (Phillip) Grissett all of Fairmont, NC; a special friend: Donathan Lee; one aunt: Isadell McFadden; two uncles: Cortez Johnson of Lake View, SC and Norman (Lisa) Kelly of Fairmont, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
