It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rometta Daymon, who departed this life on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
We invite you to join us in honoring the life of Rometta Daymon.
Public Viewing for Rometta Daymon will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Samuel Bartell Memorial Chapel located at 1309 East Calhoun Street, Dillon, South Carolina 29536.
Celebration of Life for Rometta Daymon will be held on Monday, September 1, 2025, at 12:00(NOON) at St. Matthew AME Church located at 401 Elkins Road, Hamer, South Carolina 29547.
Rometta Daymon's final resting place will be at Rest Haven in Latta, South Carolina.
Please keep the Daymon and Johnson families lifted in prayer during their time of bereavement.

Jeffrey and I got married on her 44th birthday, September 2, 1998. I'll never forget her.....
Sending sincere condolences to Christina, George, and family. I remember when we were kids and lived on Gaddy Ct. in Jacksonville. Mrs. Rometta would keep my now 31 year old daughter Jabbria when she was a baby. Christina and George were both good friends and neighbors. To George and your entire family, I am so so sorry for the passing of your dear mother. I know firsthand how much your family means to you. I worked with George at Womack Army Medical Center on Fort Bragg for some time. He took very good care of his mother, and I know she was very proud of him. I pray 🙏🏾 God gives you all , peace and understanding to get through this difficult time in your life.
