Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Historic Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church located at 301 Church Street, Mullins, South Carolina 29574.
Interment @ 2:00 PM, Florence National Cemetery in Florence, South Carolina.
Viewing: Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM-3:30 PM at Bartell Funeral Home, LLC, 1309 East Calhoun Street, Dillon, South Carolina 29536.
Wake: 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM
Historic Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church 301 Church Street, Mullins, South Carolina 29574.

I'm typing this message as tears are streaming down my face! Sam you taught me everything I know about funeral service. From the time I was 14 you told me you knew God called me to this business and you were absolutely correct. You helped me face my fears in this business and you introduced me to everybody as your Protege! I will never forget you and will continue serving families with Dignity and Respect like you taught me. I love you man and my heart is truly broken today hearing that you passed. Please watch over me as I do what you taught me.
To Doris, the children and entire Williams family. I was saddened to hear of the transition of Sam. We were all reared right down the street from each other, Sam in what we call, Ten Top Alley and my family (Yates) on Smith Street.
