It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wanda Fay Evans (48), who transitioned on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Novant Health in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Please join us in honoring the life of Wanda Fay Evans.
There will be no public viewing.
Celebration of Life for Wanda Fay Evans will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM (NOON) at Southern Grove Baptist Church, located at 2784 Townsendville Road, Maxton, North Carolina 28364.
Wanda Fay Evans' final resting place will be at the Family of God Cemetery in Rowland, North Carolina.

My husband and I send our deepest condolences to the family of Wanda (Frutiee). If it hadn't been for Wanda introducing Roosevelt and I back in 2017 we wouldn't be married now. Wanda was a pleasure to know and work with. She helped me get on with Eddie's Transportation. We've always remained in contact. She's truly going to be missed. Rest well Wanda.
