Obituary For Ms. Nyoka Allen

Ms. Nyoka Allen of Panama City, Florida entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 4th in Tampa, Florida, She was 65 years old.

Nyoka Patterson Allen was an only child born on October 24,1955 to the late James and Grace Patterson in Panama City, FL. Nyoka always had a love for helping and caring for others which eventually led her to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She spent many years in this field until her health prevented her from carrying out her job duties and she unfortunately was forced to retire. Nyoka lived her life by her own rules, you would always find her surrounded by family and friends. I guess you can call her an entertainer. Her bubbly personality often made her the center of attention, she was never at a loss for words (whether you wanted to hear them or not). Speaking her mind was never an issue, but to know her was to love her. She will truly be missed by many. Nyoka is survived by her life partner Mr. Len Nelson of Panama City, FL. Four children Yormain Risaliti (Daniele)of Pisa, Italy, Terneshia Harris (Corey) of Wesley Chapel, FL, Donald Allen of Tallahassee, FL, and Coleman Allen (Melissa) of Syracuse, NY. Her God sent son Shakel McClain of Panama City, FL, Her God daughter Kizzy Barnes of Panama City, FL. 15 Grandchildren: Jacorey Randolph, Jade Blue, Paisley Bradwell, Yorael and Amber Montalvo, Shakhyria(Juan), Korvaris, Zakori and Jatorey Harris, Tyler, Nashaun, Jose, Don Sincere, Don Coleel, and Coliyah Allen. 10 great grandchildren. Devoted friends Ms. Clara McCants and Carolyn and Frank Pittman, and a host of other loving family and friends.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, June 26th at 1:00p.m. at Battle Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Huet Sampson officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Battle Mortuary of Panama City.
