Bernard's Family Funeral Care, The Madison Chapel, announces the passing of Ms. Catherlean Diane Brinkley. Ms. Brinkley of Athens, Georgia, formerly of Madison, Georgia, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Viewing and Visitation will be held Friday, August 8, 2025, 3-6 pm at The Madison Chapel, 1086 Ward Road, Madison, Georgia 30650. Following the Visitation, the Brinkley family will be accepting visitors at 1177 Whitehall Street, Madison, Georgia 30650.
A celebration of life for Ms. Brinkley will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Union Springs Baptist Church,1400 W. Main Street, Rutledge, Georgia 30663, where Pastor Robert Terrell, Sr. serves as the Senior Pastor. Pastor and Mayor Fred Perriman, officiant; Rev. Dr. Tommy Johnson will present the eulogy.
Internment and committal services will follow the homegoing celebration at Madison Memorial City Cemetery (Fairview).
