Bernard's Family Funeral Care, The Eatonton Chapel, announces the passing of Mr.David Key. Mr. Dave, 85, passed away peacefully from his earthly home on February 18, 2026.
Viewing and Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, 4-6 PM, at the Eatonton Chapel, 103 Willie Bailey Street, Eatonton. Georgia 31024.
A life celebration for Mr. Dave will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 1 pm, at The Eatonton Chapel. Evanmgalist Sonja Pilcher will be the officiant and the eulogist of the hour. Interment and Commital services will follow at East Eatonton City Cemetery, 124 Hogan Boulevard, Eatonton, Georgia 31024.

Add A CondolenceTo the family of Mr. Dave Key. I worked with Mr. Dave in the mid seventies at McKinneys Quikstop located at Resseaus Crossroads. Dave had significant physical strength; Mac used to say that he saw Dave pick up a bar of steel. I caught up again with Dave in the eighties when I worked with him at Horton Homes. It was there that Dave showed me was a life long friend. I have thought a lot of Dave in the past few years and I'm sorry I didn't get to see him before he departed.
