Mrs. Dorothy Ruth Lamar, 73, departed this life Saturday, August 29, 2020, in Macon, Georgia.

Visitation hours will be Friday, September 4, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at The Eatonton Chapel.

Graveside services will be held 9AM Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Hunts Chapel A.M.E. Church Cemetery, Apostle Joe Pennamon, Officiating and Pastor Gwyniese Ballard, as Eulogist.

This long life of remembrance, for most of us, began on the middle wing at Butler Baker School in 1956.The family has lost a matriarch but we have lost a friend and classmate.
