Bernard’s Family Funeral Care, The Eatonton Chapel announces with heartfelt sympathy the passing of Mr. Frank Mathis of Eatonton, Georgia.
Mr. Mathis passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love and comfort of his devoted family.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Bernard’s Family Funeral Care, The Eatonton Chapel, 103 Willie Bailey Street, Eatonton, Georgia 31024.
A Celebration of Life honoring Mr. Mathis will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Putnam County Middle School, Herbert Stokes Gymnasium, 140 Sparta Highway, Eatonton, Georgia 31024. Mr. Mathis will lie in state beginning at 12:00 noon for those who wish to pay their respects before the service.
Interment and committal services will follow at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, 574 Mount Gilead Church Road, Eatonton, Georgia 31024.
