Garrell Thomas, 70, of Madison, Georgia, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital, Athens, Georgia.
Viewing and visitation will be on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Bernard’s Madison Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Plainview Baptist Church, 1221 Plainview Road, Madison, GA. Interment and committal services will follow at the Madison Memorial Cemetery.

Add A CondolenceGarrell was my cousin who I grew up with. We came to Madison, Georgia every year to see our family there. He will be truly missed. (Family from Cleveland, Ohio).
Garrell graduated with me in the class of 1973. He was quiet, very nice and always respectful. My prayer is that the family be comforted knowing that he has run his race and received his rest. May God's strength keep you and his peace surround you.
