Bernard’s Family Funeral Care, The Madison Chapel announces with heartfelt sympathy the passing of Mrs. Gybria Elaine Brown of Stone Mountain, Georgia. Mrs. Brown peacefully transitioned on August 13, 2026, at Emory Decatur Hospital.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing and visitation on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Bernard’s Family Funeral Care, The Madison Chapel, 1086 Ward Road, Madison, Georgia 30650.
A Celebration of Life Service honoring Mrs. Gybria Elaine Brown will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Union Springs Baptist Church, 1400 West Main Street, Rutledge, Georgia 30663. Mrs. Brown will lie in state beginning at 12:00 noon for those who wish to pay their respects before the service.
Interment and committal services will follow at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 4211 Fairplay Road, Bostwick, Georgia 30623.
