Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. As I reflect on our friendship, I am truly grateful for the encouragement you gave me during my years at Mapp Gilmore. Your steady guidance, honest conversations, and belief in my potential helped shape my path as I advanced through my military career. I will always appreciate the laughs we shared, the spirited back‑and‑forth over the Atlanta Falcons and the Dallas Cowboys, and the many moments spent talking life, purpose, and the things that mattered.
Your friendship has been a constant source of strength, and I hope the memories surrounding you now offer comfort and peace. I hold close the words: "In the midst of winter, I found there was within me an invincible summer." May that inner strength carry you forward.
With deepest sympathy, SFC(R) Carlton K. Canteen
