Obituary For Robert Lee “Frog” Carter
Bernard’s Family Funeral Care, The Madison Chapel, announces with heartfelt sympathy the passing of Mr. Robert Lee “Frog” Carter. A familiar and beloved presence in the community, Mr. Carter was well known for his faithful support of Morgan County athletics and could often be found cheering from the stands at nearly every Morgan County basketball game. He passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026, in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Viewing & Visitation
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Bernard’s Family Funeral Care, The Madison Chapel, 1086 Ward Road, Madison, Georgia 30650.
Celebration of Life Service
A Celebration of Life honoring the life, legacy, and cherished memories of Mr. Robert Lee “Frog” Carter will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 12:00 Noon at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church, 2050 Bethany Church Road, Madison, Georgia 30650.
Interment & Committal
Interment and committal services will follow the Celebration of Life at Fairview City Cemetery, 100 Center Street, Madison, Georgia 30650.

So sorry to hear about the passing of our dear friend. Frog which everyone so formally called him. He was a very kind and loveable man. I will definitely miss sitting with him at the game in our favorite seat. A great man has been called on to Glory. He will definitely be missed. You are now with our daughter Dapahne. Mr. "Frog" was genuinely one of the most decent human beings who ever walked this Earth. My prayers are lifted for all of the Carter family, especially his children, that as God comforts and keeps you, that the sorrow will soon be replaced with the sweetest memories of his well-lived life. Rest well, Sir. Thank you for being one of the best of God's good servants!!
