Bernard's Eatonton Chapel announces the death of Mr. Rufus J. Dorsey, Sr. of Eatonton, Georgia. Mr. Dorsey passed away on Friday, January 29, 2026.
Viewing and Visitation will be held Friday, February 6, 2026, 4-6 p.m. at Bernard's The Eatonton Chapel, 103 Willie Bailey Street, Eatonton, Georgia 31024.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Saint John AME Church, 220 Willie Bailey St., Eatonton, GA 31024, at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at East Eatonton City Cemetery, 124 Hogan Blvd., Eatonton, GA 31024.
