Bernard’s Family Funeral Care announces the death of Mr. Rufus Smith, Jr. of Eatonton, Georgia. Mr. Smith passed away at Piedmont Healthcare in Macon, Georgia on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
Viewing and visitation will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2025, 3:00-6:00 p.m., at The Eatonton Chapel, 103 Willie Bailey Street.
A celebration of life for Mr. Smith will be Wednesday, December 3, 2025, 1 pm, at St. John A.M.E. Church, 220 Willie Bailey Drive, Eatonton, Georgia. Interment and committal services will follow at Browns Chapel AME Cemetery, Eatonton, Georgia 31024.
