Bernard’s Family Funeral Care, The Eatonton Chapel announces the passing of Minister Sidney Marshall Reid of Eatonton, Georgia.
Viewing and Visitation will be held prior to service 10a.m.-12 noon, Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025, 12 noon, at St. John AME Church, 220 Willie Bailey Street, Eatonton, Georgia 31024. St. John AME’s Pastor Wayne Griffin, Sr. will be presiding and be the eulogist of the hour. Internment and committal services will be held following the homegoing service at East Eatonton City Cemetery, 124 Hogan Boulevard, Eatonton, Georgia, 31024.

Sidney was a member of The Gospel Kings of Warner Robins, Georgia for several years and recorded an album (CD) with the group in 2017. His energy and dedication was a God send to the group during some difficult times and we will miss his presence. We know he has attained that which all are working for, access to our Heavenly Home. May God bless the family. It was an honor be be in the group with him.
