My Big Brother Troy — Forever in My Heart My dear big brother Troy,

I still cannot believe that I am writing these words about you. Losing you so suddenly has left a pain in my heart that I cannot fully explain. There are so many things I will miss about you, but most of all, I will miss you.

I will miss your unique voice. I will miss our conversations and the way we could talk about so many different things—restaurant duties, travelling, basketball, your grandchildren, and of course, our family. I will miss hearing you talk about your daughter Christina, whom you proudly named after our mother.

Troy, you cared so much about me and my family. You always made sure to check on us and to know that we were okay. That love and concern meant more to me than you probably ever realized.

And now, I keep thinking about this year. I was supposed to visit you in Georgia. I had every intention of coming to see you, but I had to travel to Colombia for medical reasons instead. I remember promising you that next year, for sure, I would come.  I never imagined that "next year" would never come.

I never imagined that the visit I kept postponing would become the visit I would never get the chance to make. That thought breaks my heart. I wish I could turn back the hands of time and have that visit with you. I wish I could sit with you, talk with you, laugh with you, and simply enjoy being with my big brother one more time. You were always so proud of your two sisters, Davida and me. You would boast about us and speak so highly of us. You loved your baby sisters, and you made sure we knew it. And you always spoke so proudly about your mom, who was not only your mother but also my second mom and my godmother. The love and respect you had for her was something I will always remember.

Troy, I will miss everything about you—the sound of your voice, our conversations, your jokes, your stories, your pride in your family, and the way you cared about all of us. I will miss being able to say, "That's my big brother Troy."

Thank you for loving me. Thank you for always checking on me. Thank you for being my big brother and for giving me so many memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I wish I could have had that trip to Georgia with you. I wish I had more time. But I will hold on to every conversation, every laugh, every memory, and every moment we shared.

I love you, Big Brother Troy. Your baby sister will forever love you, forever miss you, and forever carry you in her heart. Rest peacefully, my big brother. Until we meet again, know that you will never, ever be forgotten. Forever your baby sister, Trista ❤️🕊️

Forever in My Heart, Troy Troy, my godson, my son, had a very special part of my life—there are simply no words to express the pain of losing you so suddenly.

You were never just my godson. I was blessed to be your babysitter, your second mom here in St. Kitts, and someone who loved and cared for you as my own. Watching you grow and being part of your life was a blessing that I will always treasure.

Your mother, Chris, is not just my best friend; she is my sister, my confidant. We have shared so much together—our laughter, our struggles, our joys, our tears, and so many precious moments. And through that beautiful friendship, I was blessed to have you and your sister Davida in my life. Our children are siblings no matter who is the mother.

One of the things I will always remember is how you would check up on me through my daughter, Trista, your baby sister. Even though you weren't close, you made sure to find out how I was doing. Those little gestures meant so much to me, and now they are memories that I will hold close to my heart forever.

Troy, your passing has left a space that no one can fill. It hurts knowing that I won't get another call, another message, another check-in, or another opportunity to tell you how much you mean to me.

But I thank God for the years, the memories, the laughter, and the love we shared. I will forever be grateful that life allowed me to be your godmother and your second mom. To Chris, my best friend, my heart breaks with you. I know that no words can take away this pain, but please know that you do not have to walk this journey alone. I will continue to stand beside you, just as we have always stood beside each other. Troy will always be a part of our story and a part of our hearts.

Forever in my heart, Troy. I will always love you, my godson, my son, and my family.

Rest peacefully, until we meet again. You will never be forgotten Juanita aka Jenita❤️🕊️
