Allen A. Kearney, Jr., age 68, of Hampton, Virginia, formerly of Warrenton, NC. departed this life on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025,at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services, the Reverend Dr. Douglas Wooten will officiate. Burial will follow in the Snow Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memory one sister, Wendelyn Jefferson (Gilbert); two brothers, Gerald Kearney and Shawn Kearney (Tania); a special aunt, Carol E. Burwell; one uncle, Norman Edwards; two nephews, Timothy and Gilbert, Jr.; five nieces, Amber, Starr, Alexis, Sade, and Samara; along with a host of family and friends.
He may be viewed on Thursday, July 31,2025 from 1:00pm -5:00pm in the chapel of Boyd & Royster.

My deepest condolences to Mr. Kearney's family. He was such a gentleman, big hearted and had a great love for his family. I feel honored to have known him and to have been able to help care for him on SCI. He will be missed here.

Mr. Kearney will be missed at SCI. I've really enjoyed getting to know him these past few years. He loved to reminisce about his youth and I enjoyed hearing all of his stories. His sense of humor was like no other. Most importantly, he was kind and taught me a lot. I'm grateful that I met him! Sending my condolences to the family.
