Obituary For Archie Alston
It is with heartfelt sympathy that Boyd & Royster Funeral Services announces the passing of Mr. Archie Alston, age 31, of Warrenton, North Carolina, who departed this life on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Duke University Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Spring Green Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina, the Reverend Sebastian Hammie will officiate, and the Reverend Cheryl Stith will deliver the eulogy.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Archie leaves to cherish loving memories, his four children, Archie Alston, Jr., Logan Alston, Iayla Alston, and Azariah Alston; his father, Samuel Alston, Sr.; his siblings, Samuel Alston, Jr.(Lasherra) of Oxford, North Carolina, Anthony Brown of Warrenton, North Carolina, Angel Calloway of Lexington, Kentucky, Rickshunda Rogers of Warrenton, North Carolina, Antwane Brown of Warrenton, North Carolina, Africa Alston-Myers (Chad) of Charleston, South Carolina, Chevelle Brown (Lee) of Charleston, South Carolina and Maron Praleau (Nichole) of Charleston, South Carolina; his aunt, Michelle Terry(Nate) of Oakland, California; his uncle, Clifford Adams of Oakland, California; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
He may be viewed on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 1:00pm- 5:00pm at Boyd & Royster.

Wow C/O Alston to know you is to love you with your kind caring heart. To the family of Mr. Alston my heart goes out to his kids your dad talk about you all he was a caring young man with a big heart. I work with this young man at Warren Correctional Center. God has each of you know that your dad is your guardian angel. May God wrap his loving arms around y'all and give you strength to remember what your daddy has in still in each of you to keep the faith. Love y'all be strong praying for each or you and his family.
I don't have a long history with Archie but I got to know him on the basketball court. He was so fast that this old man couldn't keep up with him. He was a great guy. He is considered "One Of The Y Bros". RIP Bruh. Our Condolences to the family ππΎππΎππΎ
