Mr. Carl Darnell Davis, Sr. of Durham, North Carolina formerly of Warren County, NC departed this life on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Pettigrew Rehabilitation Center in Durham, North Carolina.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00pm on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The Reverend Jimmie Hayes will officiate and Reverend Stephon Goode, Pastor will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Edwards Grove Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina.
He is survived by his daughter, Courtney C. Davis (Jamila) three grandchildren, Kai Baber-Davis, Zuri Baber-Davis, and Nasir Goshay, all of Greensboro, NC; five sisters, Ruth Davis Freeman, Gloria Sandra Davis, Angelia Davis, and Brenda Diane Stevens (Luther) all of Durham, NC; Doris Elaine Steele (Michael) of Graham, NC; one sister-in-law, Brenda Perry of Louisburg NC; three brothers-in-law, Tommy Perry (Sherbia) of Greensboro, NC; Algernon and Kenneth Perry of Louisburg, NC and an abundance of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Davis may be viewed on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 12noon until 5:00pm in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services.
