Keeping the FAMILY in Prayers. Sending Love to you all.
To Clem & Lisa and The family of Mrs. Clara Hawkins: You're in our thoughts and Prayers, please know how much you are loved and how deeply your loss is felt by all. Words, however kind, can't mend your heartache: but those who care and share your loss wish you comfort and peace of mind. May you find strength in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends. With Heartfelt Sympathy The Cox, Parker, Singletary and Steadman Families.
One of my most memorable occasions with Clara Marie is when we first met and she was at the table processing sausage and her daughter Alice (Niecie) was standing next to her. She was exhausted: however, still found time to enjoy a conversation with me. Without question and under no uncertain terms, she was a lady of the highest order.
I will always be mindful of her death; "your good name is better than fine perfume, and your day of death is better than your day of birth." The comfort of having had you as a friend may be taken away, but not the fact of having had you as a friend. Your death from this world is not final, but rather, an advancement towards the second stage of the journey towards eternal life. Indeed, a tree is best measured when it is hemmed to the ground, leaving associates, family members, and friends to admire, cherish and remember a life beautifully lived. I enjoyed your presence deeply and that can never be lost as it became a part of me-PERMANENTLY. The bond between friends cannot be broken by chance; no interval of time or space can destroy it. Not even death itself can part true friends. It has been said that those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day... unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear.
Finally, you left a legacy of life to be envied. The wages of sin is death and the penalty of death has been paid. Truly, your parents have been blessed with a wonderful daughter that did not depart this life as a charlatan, but rather, a queen that will sit eternally near the throne of God welcomed in His kingdom by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. See you in the morning Clara Marie. Your loving cousin. Lonnie Hayes, Jr.
