Obituary For Cornelia H. Powell
We knew little that morning that God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
Cornelia Powell age 79, formerly of Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Sunday, June 22,2025 in Balitmore, Maryland.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Ms. Cornelia Powell on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 1:00pm in chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Service in Warrenton, North Carolina. The Reverend Lennis Thorpe will Officiate and burial will follow in the Odell Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Littleton, NC.
Cornelia is survived by her devoted son, Kelly Jerome Powell; her loving daughter, Barbara Jean Williams; her cherished granddaughters, Shytima Shereese Nelson and Cornelia Hilton; and her beloved great-grandson, Demari Sedacy. She also leaves behind her sister, Marva Powell, who will miss her dearly.
She may be viewed on Wednesday July 2,2025 from 12:00pm-1:00pm prior to the service.
