A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong.

Mrs. Ella Alston, age 93, of Warrenton NC, departed this life on Saturday January 8, 2022 at Granville Medical Center, Oxford, NC.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services 149 Holland Bland Rd. Warrenton, NC. Reverend Carl D. Wardrett will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow at Spring Green Missionary Baptist Chruch Cemetery.

Those left to Cherish her memories are her children; Mary Terry(Leonard) Manson, NC; Jessie (Doris) Warrenton, NC; Willie, Hollister, NC; Mack, Warrenton, NC; Charles (Alice) Warrenton, NC; Charlie, Warrenton, NC; Linette Crews (Lamonte) Warrenton, NC; and two special grandchildren she saw as own; Rachon Hargrove (Sherika) Henderson, NC; Joshua Hargrove (Marquita) Austell, GA; 28 Grandchildren; 41 Great-Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; One sister; Esther Marie Newell, Warrenton; and One brother; Romeo Davis Sr., Norfolk, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Public Viewing: Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 1-5 PM.
