The Stars and Stripes, they flew forever always in his heart. He was loyal to his nation and bravely did his part. Always thinking of his brother ever in his mind. He stood for love of country and most of all mankind.

Mr. Gordon Johnny Christmas, age 62, of Henderson, North Carolina formerly of Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Curis Thomasville Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Thomasville, North Carolina. Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Coley Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina. The Reverend Carson F. Jones, Jr, pastor will officiate the service.

Mr. Christmas leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Elizabeth Benton (James) of Henderson, North Carolina; one grandson, Jaylen Khalid Benton; one special cousin, Debbie Molley; a best friend and mother of his child, Emma Rowlett; along with a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

He may be viewed on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 12noon until 5:00pm in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina.
