A light went out on Earth for me, the day we said goodbye, and on that day a star was born, the brightest in the sky.
Jamika Jones age 45 departed this life on Thursday, November 13,2025 at Duke University Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22,2025 at 2:30pm in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services.
Jamika leaves to cherish her memory: her fiancé, Sherron Balthrope; four sisters, Jatesha Rice, Johanna Rice, Jakima Hill, and Jasmine Hill; one brother, Allen Hill; her special niece, Jathanna Rice; her special nephew, Jomoze Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family, and friends.
She may be viewed on Friday, November 21,2025 from 2:00pm -5:00pm.at Boyd & Royster.
