John Wayne Hargrove, age 59, of Warren County, departed this life on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Maria Parham Health in Henderson, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Mr. John Wayne Hargrove on November 2,2025 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services. Apostle Monique Perry will officiate, and burial will follow in the Lynch Family Cemetery on Tabron School Road in Hollister, North Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Jessica Hargrove of Warrenton, NC; his devoted and special ex-wife, Janice Lee of Warrenton, NC; his grandchildren, Destiny Turner, Rain Lee, Skye Lee, Ethan Lee, and Randy Lee; his mother, Louise Crews; his brothers, Walter Crews, Jr. of Warrenton, NC, and Calvin and Anthony Durham of Manson, NC; his sisters, Felecia Kearney and Kimberly Hendricks, both of Warrenton, NC, and Christine and Linda Durham both of Manson, NC; a special niece, Priscilla Hargrove; two aunts, Lillie Belle Hargrove of Norlina, NC, and Fannie Durham of Norlina, NC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will cherish his memory.

He can be viewed on Saturday, November 1,2025 in the chapel of Boyd & Royster from 9:00am-1:00pm.
