Keith Adam Oakerson, age 65, of Warrenton, North Carolina, formerly of Tennessee, departed this life on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at his residence, with his loving wife by his side.
Keith worked alongside his father in Florida as a handyman and painter. He was an avid painter and mechanic who took pride in his work. A lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, Keith loved the freedom of the open road and truly lived as a free spirit. He also enjoyed fishing and cherished the many times spent fishing with his son, Michael, in Florida.
On November 25, 2025, Keith was united in marriage to his childhood sweetheart, Teresa Johnson, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Their love story spanned a lifetime. Though life took them on separate paths at times, their bond never faded, and they always found their way back to one another. Their reunion was marked by a deep, enduring love and devotion.
Keith was loved and cherished by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence, and his brother, David.
Keith leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of three weeks, Teresa Oakerson; two sons, Michael (Kendell) and Clarence; one daughter, Abera; three grandchildren; his mother, Wanda Oakerson; one brother, Gerald (Molly); one sister, Janie (John); and a host of other relatives and friends.
