Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.

Mrs. Margaret Towns, age 98, of Macon, North Carolina departed this life on Wednesday, February 12,2025.

A Celebration of life for Margaret Towns will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary of Mt Zion Baptist Church 648 Harristown Rd, Macon, NC 27551. Reverend Malvin Hargrove, Pastor, officiant.

Margaret leaves to cherish her memory one son, Leonard Towns (Filomena); one daughter in-law, Karen Towns; one granddaughter, Shannon (Israel); one grandson, Justin Towns; two great- grandsons, Adonis and Tristan; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing: 10:00am - 11:00am at the church.
