Obituary For Marie Watson Williams
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
Mrs. Marie Watson Williams, age 88, of New York, NY (formerly of Warrenton, North Carolina) departed this life on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, NY.
Celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 11AM at Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church 1175 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Warrenton, North Carolina. Reverend Carson Jones will deliver the eulogy and interment will follow in the Davis family cemetery.
She leaves behind her youngest son, Victor; her brother, Manson (Red) Watson; daughters-in-law Dawne and Ziakede; sisters-in-law Carolyn and Willie; four grandchildren, April, Kevin, Lena, and Timiyo; her great-granddaughter Eliana and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing will be held Monday, June 17, 2024, from 10-11AM at Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church.
The Homegoing Celebration will be streamed via facebook Live on the page of Boyd Royster
