Mr. George W. Campbell, 85, of Norlina departed this life on Friday, June 10, 2022 at his residence.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 1:00PM at First Baptist Memorial Gardens, 300 Washington Street, Norlina, NC. Reverend Lawrence Willimas will deliver the Eulogy.
He leaves to cherish his most memorable memories his loving, caring and devoted wife, Deborah A.C. Campbell; three daughters, Rhonda Campbell, Carolyn Graddy (Kenny); and Taura Major (Kevin); seven grandchildren, Gemar Patterson, Gemise Knowles, Tasia Darden, Cierra Reeves, Sydney Reeves, and Kennedy Major; four great grandchildren, Tyler Knowles, Chloe Knowles, Mason Patterson, and Bella Rose Patterson; several special friends, Deacon Clarence Sledge and family, Deacon Alvin Boyd, and Sister Joyce Henderson; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relative, church family and friends.
Public Viewing will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 12Noon-7PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Service 149 Holland Bland Rd. Warrenton, NC.

Uncle George you will be truly,truly missed. I am going to truly miss our talks especially when you talk about the Campbell family history and the advice about life you gave me. The laughs and talks was a big inspiration to me. You and aunt Deborah had a strong love for each other and I love that. Mr.C you will always be in our hearts and prayers. We met you 2 yrs ago when we moved across the street. You an Mrs C took us under your wing's and made us part as your family, we will always hear your laughter and your sense of humor. Now you are with baby topsy ( little) Budda. You take care of her for us and walk her every day an let her know how much we miss her an we will miss you. You are the best adopted father/ friend that will be missed dearly in our hearts.
