You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
Mr. Leonard Crews, of Warrenton, N.C. departed this life on Friday, July 29, 2022, at his residence.
The Funeral will be conducted in the chapel of Boyd & Royster funeral home on Sunday, August 7,2022, at 2p.m. The Rev. Spencer Davis will officiate.
He is survived by his nephew / son Reginald Crews (Ordean), his sister, Linda Crews, his brother, William Crews (Doris), children: Floyd Hymon (Judy), Ronald Hymon (Mary), Five grandchildren Julissa (Emanuel), Ronald Jr (Tammara), Maurice, Terrill (Ennika) and Alicia (Richard) and eighteen great-grandchildren, Two sister in-laws, Barbara and Carolyn and one brother-in-law Earl (Barbara),along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and many, many friends.
Public viewing and visitation will be held on Saturday, August 6,2022, from noon until 5 p.m. Services are entrusted by Boyd and Royster Funeral service.
To the Crews Family: I invoke the power of the Holy Spirit to strength and comfort each of you to bear the transition of our friend Leonard. May you be at peace. May the Spirit of God sustain you in your period of grieve and may you be forever thankful for the life, the legacy and the memories of Leonard.
