I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.
Mr. Wiley Davis, age 89, of Parktown Road, Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at his residence.
A viewing for Mr. Wiley Davis will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Service 149 Holland Bland Rd. Warrenton, North Carolina. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at Shocco Chapel Missionary Baptist Church 180 Shocco Church Rd. Warrenton, North Carolina.

Wiley Davis was admired for coming to visit family and friends from New York in a big Buick. I was a youngster that thought he was the coolest of the cool. Several families would meet at my grandparents home, Mary & Spencer Davis, and the men would brag on their vehicles. Man that was a sight to see. Wiley could really lay it out. I enjoyed talking to him on numerous occasions about life and its struggles. Without question and under no uncertain terms, I learned a great deal from him. I will see you in the morning Wiley Davis. Until then, sleep well ✝️✝️✝️
