We knew little that morning that God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
Oleathia Hayes age 83, of Warrenton, departed this life on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Maria Parham Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Mrs. Oleathia Hayes on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00am in the sanctuary of Snow Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton, NC, the Reverend Pearline Cooper will officiate and Reverend King Perry, Jr. will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Snow Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Left to cherish her loving and precious memory are her devoted husband, Henry Hayes; her children, Robyn Hayes of Wake Forest, NC, Keith Hayes of Wake Forest, NC and Bryan Hayes of the home; four sisters, Juanita Oates of Charlotte, NC, Wilburay McNeill of Pinetops, NC, Gwendolyn Burns, Robersonville, NC and Christine Sharpe (James), Richmon, VA.; three brothers, Leonard Dancy (Mamie) of Norwalk, CT, Bernard Dancy (Annette) of Pinetops, NC, and Winfred Dancy (Donna) of Louisburg, NC; one Brother-in-law, David O. Hayes of New York, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She may be viewed on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 1:00pm-5:00pm at Boyd & Royster.
