God looked around his garden and found an empty place.He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face.He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.With the help of his angels they flew you to your heavenly place.
Pattie M. Richardson, age 93, of Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Saturday, July 19,2025 at Senior Citizens Nursing Home in Henderson, North Carolina.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary of Coley Springs Missionary Baptist Church. The Reverend Carson F. Jones, Jr., will officiate, and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her beloved children—Barbara Akins (Anthony), Rosa Taylor, Willey Richardson, and Dorthy Richardson, all of Warrenton, North Carolina; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She also lovingly raised three great-grandchildren: DeVontae’ Richardson, Ashanti Richardson, and Keyniah Lloyd, all of the home; two sisters, Mary “Liz” Brooks and Lucy Coles (Nick), both of Baltimore, Maryland; two sisters-in-law, Dorthy Townes of Flint, Michigan, and Pearlena Richardson of Norh Carolina; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She can be viewed on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 1 pm to 5 pm at Boyd & Royster.
The family will receive visitors and friends at Barbara’s home , 309 Morgan’s Place, Henderson, NC.
