We knew little that morning that God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
Pierre Rogers age 34, formerly of Warren County departed this life on Wednesday, November 26,2025 in Hyattsville, Maryland.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Pierre Rogers on Saturday, December 6,2025 at 1:00pm in the sanctuary of Spring Green Missionary Baptist Church the Reverend Sylvester Hammie will officiate and Elder Calvin Montague will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pierre leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved parents, Clarence Cheek and Mary Cheek (Dennis); his grandfather, Robert Rogers; his aunts, Jessie Cheek and Cheryl Rogers Montague (Calvin); his uncles, Fredrick Cheek, Lorenzo Cheek (Gwen), and Cleon Cheek (Varinda); and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends who will deeply miss him.
He may be viewed on Friday, December 5,2025 from 3:00pm-6:00pm in the chapel of Boyd & Royster.

My deepest condolences to the family. Pierre was not only my coworker—he was my friend and my sidekick. He worked tirelessly and was a devoted member of our team. I am absolutely heartbroken, but I hold onto the promise that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
