We knew little that morning that God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
Prophet John T. Williams, Jr., age 74 of Henderson, North Carolina departed this life on Saturday, January 18,2025 at UNC Hosptial in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton. The Reverend Gayle Mills will officiate and Reverend John Marrow will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens in Henderson, NC.
John leaves to cherish his memory, The Queen of his dreams, his wife for life, Sharon Williams; two daughters, Chedon and Ahbrionna, one step-daughter, Tabitha; one step-son, Melvin (Tonya); mother-in-law, Vernell Crockett; one sister, Ida (William); one brother, Notre Dane (Cheryl); one sister- in-law, Patricia; one brother-in-law, Kevin; one he considered his brother, Wesley; four grand-daughters, Taylor, Lamariya, Shyane, and Shamari; one grandson, Lamar; two great-grandchildren; a wonderful host of nieces, nephews, two great nephews, cousins, church family and many, many friends
Mr. Williams may be viewed on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 10:00am until 2:00pm in chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Service.
