Obituary For Reverend Linette Alston Crews
We knew little that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
Reverend Linette Alston-Crews, age 54, of Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Maria Parham Health in Henderson, North Carolina.
A Celebration Of Life will be conducted 1:00PM on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at the Warren County Middle School, 118 Campus Drive, Warrenton, NC 27589. This Reverend Tony W. Cozart, Pastor will officiate and burial will follow in the Cooks Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina.
She leaves to cherish and celebrate her legacy, her loving husband, Lamonte Crews of the home; four children, Rachon Hargrove (Sherika) of Manson, NC, Joshua Hargrove (Marquita), Chakelah Goode both of Georgia and Omar Crews of the home; four grandchildren, Khaleah Dream Hargrove of Georgia, Jaylen, Ja’Niyah, and Ja’Mari all of Manson, NC; one sister, Mary Terry (Leonard) of Manson, NC; five brothers, Jessie Alston (Doris), Willie Alston, Mack Alston, Deacon Charles Alston (Alice) and Charlie Alston all of Warrenton, NC; two brothers-in-law, Roderick Crews (Teena) of Henderson, NC, Joseph Crews (JaJa) of Warrenton, NC; two sisters-in-law, Corretta Crews of Henderson, NC and Valanda Crews of Maryland; one uncle, Romeo Davis of Norfolk, VA; one aunt, Ester Marie Newell of Warrenton, NC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, co-workers and friends.
Reverend Crews may be viewed on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at tBoyd & Royster Funeral Service from 9am until 3pm.
