I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.
Tony McKinley Hargrove, Sr. of Norlina, North Carolina departed this life on Monday, May 12,2025 at the Durham VA Health Systems in Durham, North Carolina.
A Celebration of life will be held for Mr. Tony Hargrove, Sr. on Saturday, May 17,2025 at 12:00pm in the sanctuary of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Manson, North Carolina. The Reverend William Alston will Officiate; burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 16,2025 from 1:00pm -5:00pm at Boyd & Royster.

I'm so thankful to have been blessed with a friendship of such a cordial soul. Tony and I were long time friends from school in the Warren County School System. I will forever cherish the memories we developed as youngsters and continued throughout our adult lives.
