We offer our condolences to the Norris family. Dean Norris was a great guy and an "Extraordinary Man." He came to my Pastoral Anniversary 3 years ago and "turned it out." He gave me a tee-shirt with his poem on it. I am always grateful for his passion and spirit for everything he did. He was a staple in the Zion Congress of Christian Education, from his Usher training class to his puppet ministry. He did all to the glory of God. Dean Norris, you will definitely be missed.

He was a Bright and Shining Light in his Community and even Beyond!! He will be remembered by the many lives that he touched in the magnificent "Street Ministry" that He Organized and Conducted!! I want to honor the life of a truly incredible man and a very dear friend. He used to fondly call himself 'the extraordinary man,' and anyone who knew him knows just how true that title was. He was a humble, down-to-earth person who dedicated so much of his heart to our community, especially at the Ritz Theatre. He loved helping younger generations discover their true potential—whether it was through singing, dancing, or just finding their own unique talents. He inspired all of us to step out and enjoy life together.Beyond his love for the arts, he was a deeply spiritual man who anchored his life in the scriptures. He was always ready to share a meaningful word, a scripture, or a story from his own life to lift someone else up. He spent his time writing poems and making scripture books for children, always giving his absolute best to the world. He was a mentor, an inspiration, and a wonderful friend. Condolences to the Norris family, I've had the privilege of knowing EL every since our days at Risley Elementary on Albany Street. Worked with him in the Zion Sunday School and BTU Congress of Christian Education.
