Obituary For Catherine Richardson

Catherine Richardson was born on November 2, 1947, in Live Oak, Florida, to the late George and Leola Richardson. She was a devoted mother, a hard worker, and a loving sister, daughter, and friend. Catherine was raised in Quitman, Georgia, where she graduated from Washington Street High School. She shared a special bond with her best friend and sister, Frances.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, George and Leola Richardson; her special parent, Gladys Arnold; her sisters, Wanda Arnold and Gloria Denson; and her brother, Eddie Richard

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children, Don Richardson and Danielle Reese (Allan); her cherished grandchildren, Andrew Craig, Zy’Brianna Murphy, Kamizah Manning, and Al’Lonah Reese; and her precious great-grandchild, Asia Craig. Catherine’s memory will also be treasured by her loving sisters, Joyce Hollis, Deloris Lane, Frances Neloms (Robert), Mary Richardson, Marie Manning (Anthony), Ernestine Williams (Larry), Joann Demps, and Mary Jones; her devoted brother, Freddie Richardson (Linda); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Catherine’s love, strength, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though she has departed from this life, her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire generations to come.

Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Catherine Richardson will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 3:30 PM in the BTW Funeral Services Chapel. Burial: North End Cemetery, Quitman, Georgia.
