Christine Daniels was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 80 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia. She was born on July 20, 1945, to the late Earnest Daniels Sr. and Willie Lee Daniels in Barwick, Georgia where she resided. She completed her high school education at Magnolia High School in Thomasville, Georgia and graduated with the Class of 1963. Later, Christine went on to further her education and received her Associate Degree in IBM Key Punch from Birdwood Community College in Thomasville, Georgia.
Christine worked for many years at Humphrey’s Groceries and provided housekeeping services throughout the surrounding area. She was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and dedication to serving her community, leaving a lasting impression on those she worked with and for.
Christine had a deep love for cooking and took great joy in babysitting her grandchildren and other children in the community. Known for her generous heart, she never hesitated to feed anyone in need and didn’t see anyone as a stranger, always welcoming all with a warm meal and open arms.
Christine was a loving mother of seven children: Earnestine Wallace (Alfonzie), Herman Daniels (Connie), Katrina Daniels, Larry Wayne Daniels, Cannie Williams (Lionel), Jennifer Daniels, and Jeffery Daniels, all of Barwick, Georgia. She also lovingly raised her special nephew/son, Henry Lewis Andrews (Robin) of St. Petersburg, Florida, whom she cared for as her own. Christine was also a proud godmother to her goddaughter, Lizziyah Coston, and she also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Christine was blessed with a large and loving family, including 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great -grandchildren. Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family will continue through generations. Family meant everything to her, and she was deeply devoted to each child. She nurtured and supported throughout her life.
Christine leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. She will be remembered as a woman who stood firmly for her family, friends, and beliefs.
Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Christine Daniels will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM – Friendship AME Church, Dixie, Georgia, Reverend Fredrick Davis, Officiating and Elder James Knolton, Eulogist. Internment: Barwick Cemetery, Barwick, Georgia.
Public Viewing, Friday, January 16, 2026-12:00 – 6:00 PM in the BTW Funeral Services Chapel.
