Obituary For Tina Marshall

A Loving Tribute to the Life and Legacy of Ms. Tina LaShon Marshall

On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, God gently called His daughter, Tina, from labor to reward in Covington, Georgia.

Tina was born on November 29, 1966, in Valdosta, Georgia, to the late Roosevelt Marshall and Eddie Mae Blankumsee Marshall. She was the fifth of six children born to this union. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Jerald Marshall, Sr.

At an early age, Tina obeyed the Gospel and was added to the Church of Christ. Throughout her life, she attended Laurel Street Church of Christ and later the Shumate Street Church of Christ.

Tina received her education in the Brooks County School System. During her school years, she was an active student who proudly played the clarinet in the school band and served as a cheerleader. Following high school, she furthered her education at Valdosta Technical College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Cosmetology and Customer Service.

Tina was a woman who found joy in life's simple blessings. She loved studying the Bible and watching biblical television programs. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling, spending time with family, and creating cherished memories with her grandchildren. Her warm spirit, loving heart, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will forever be remembered.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving children: Dr. Martesia (Derval) Clarke, Lisa (Chris) McMillion, and Daniel (Tifany) Mitchell; her treasured grandchildren, Tyler, Charis, Derval, Jr., Christina, Demi McMillion, Belle and London; four devoted siblings: Tanita (Byron) Wesson of Dallas, Texas, Michelle Brown of Atlanta, Georgia, Derrick Marshall of Stone Mountain, Georgia, and Walter Marshall of Conyers, Georgia; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, dear friends, and all who were blessed to know and love her.
