Mr. Willie James Golden, 71 was born in Brooks County, Georgia on May 16, 1953 to the hate Harrison "Jack" Denson and Mamie Blue Denson Golden. Step-father, William Golden. He was married to Joyce Miller Golden for 28 years until he fell asleep in death on September 13, 2024.

He is proceeded in death by brothers: Clayton Denson, Sr., Richard Grady Denson, Sr., Charlie C. Denson, Harrison Denson, Jr., Herman Denson and John Golden; Sisters: Louise Postell, Cassie Grant, Shirley Golden and Eloise Still. Mr. Golden was educated in the Brooks County, School System and graduated from Lanier County High School in 1973. He served 2 years in the Armed Services and worked 35 years for the Department of Defense as a Quality Assurance Inspector. Mr. Golden was a beloved Family Man and Devoted Husband and Father.

Hill of Valdosta, GA; Sisters: Shirley (William) Hogan of Lake Park, GA and Mary Smith of Valdosta, GA; Brothers: Howard (Pinky) Golden, Richard (Andrea) Golden, Frank (Minerva) Golden all of Quitman, GA, William (Denise) Golden of Atlanta, GA; Sisters-in-law: Daisy Denson of Valdosta, GA, Mary Denson and Patricia Golden both of Quitman, GA, Lily Denson of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Rovell of Valdosta, GA, Wanda Lane of Tampa, FL, Adrienne (Rickey) Alderman of Naylor, GA and Donna (James) Lingo of Stockton, GA; Brothers-in-law: Randy (Shan) Miller of Lakeland, GA and Larry (Carolyn) Miller of Lake City, FL; Eleven Grandchildren: Jared, Jr., Obadiah. Ja’Nia, Lauryn, Joshua, Hope, Jordon, Laila, D’Niya, Leaman and Rayshundra; Special Thanks to his nephew, Richard Denson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Willie James Golden will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the BTW Funeral Services Chapel; Public Visitation, 12:00 – 5:00 PM, Friday, September 20, 2024.
